BSNL users wait for bills for last two months

Once again,subscribers of the BSNL landline connections are facing a tough time. People in many areas of the city have not received their telephone bills for months together. But their woes do not end here: no one at the BSNL office is ready to answer their queries.

Rajkamal Singh,a resident of Raj Guru Nagar,said: “Four months have passed and we did not get our telephone bills. When we contact the telephone exchange,we do not get any satisfactory response. Seeing no way out,I deposited the bill in advance,so that my phone does not get disconnected.”

Hemchand Gupta,a resident of Flower Dale area,and Simranjit Kaur of Shant Park area also complained about the same.

They said: “We have not received the bills for the last two months. Private companies are concerned about their customers,but BSNL does not seem to care.”

Chander Shekhar Bhanot,General Manager,Ludhiana Telecom,said: “I will check out where the problem lies. We handover the bills to the postal department for door-to-door delivery. Perhaps there might be some problem,but I will get it solved.”
