Three arrested for possessing illegal arms Ludhiana: The today caught three persons with live cartridges and pistols. Ravinder Singh,Gurjeet Singh and Sukhdeep Singh were travelling a motorcycle on the Hambaran Road when they were caught. Ravinder was carrying a pistol with seven live cartridges while Gurjeet was having one revolver with 6 live cartridges. Sukhdeep Singh had a 315 bore desi pistol. All have been arrested and investigations are on. SAD Delhi to honour CWG medal winners Ludhiana: The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD Delhi) will be honouring medal winners of CWG from Punjab. This was stated by Jaswinder Singh Baliawal,President,SAD-Delhi. Baliawal said a function will be organised to honour the medal winners. He alleged that it is sad that the Punjab Government has not uttered a single word to praise the glory brought by players. Baliawal suggested that Punjab Government must also announce special financial rewards like other states.
