Police gift saplings to students
LUDHIANA: AIG Intelligence Officer Joginder Singh and Ludhiana ACP Raj Kumar gifted 500 saplings to the first-year students of GCW. The move was part of a plantation drive that began in the city on Wednesday. Joginder Singh said: “I am here to try and reduce the gap between the youth of the city and the police personnel.” Swati,one of the receipents,said: “We are very happy to get such priceless gifts from the police.”

PCTE receives Asia’s best B-school award
LUDHIANA: PCET,Ludhiana,received the ‘Best B-school Leadership Award’ and ‘Innovative Leadership Award’ at Asia’s Best B-School awards ceremony in Suntec,Singapore,on Wednesday. Swapan Chanana. deputy director,Management and Technology,represented PCTE in Asia’s Best B-School awards ceremony and received the award on behalf of the PCTE group.
