Baking contest at GGNIMT

The Hotel Management Department of GGN Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT) organised an intra-college Cake Baking Competition at the institute’s restaurant here on Monday. The competition’s preliminary rounds were held on October 18,in which five students were short-listed for the final event.

The finalists used their creativity and innovation to prepare cakes of different flavors and essence. The students were judged on four parameters – preparation method,texture,softness and taste. The students prepared eggless cake with flavours of melted chocolate,vanilla,cloves and cardamom. Anmol Narang was awarded the winners medal while Kanav Verma was adjudged second.

The principal of the institute P S Khattra congratulated the winners for their novelty in preparation.
