Anna Hazare:IMA holds emergency GB meet

An emergency meeting of the General Body (GB) of IMA Ludhiana was held today with Dr Kulwant Singh in the chair as its President. The members stated that following the movement against corruption by social activist Anna Hazare and his fellows,they appealed to right thinking members of the IMA to work with commitment against corruption.

The members asked the state government to appoint anti-corruption committees with equal participation of the social activist and make anti-corruption law more stringent.

This should be done both at the district and state levels,they added.The meeting was attended by Dr Manoj Sobti,Dr G S Grewal,Dr D P Singh Arora,Dr S S Sibia,Dr Narjit Kaur,Dr Subash Singla,Dr Narotam Dewan,Dr Digvijay Sharma and others.
