A 14-year-old resident of Atam Park area went missing from a park in the area under mysterious circumstances on Saturday.

A 14-year-old resident of Atam Park area went missing from a park in the area under mysterious circumstances on Saturday. Deeksha Goyal’s father Vipan Goyal has now registered an FIR alleging abduction at Model Town police station. The family suspects its former tenant to be behind the ‘abduction’.

According to family it had forced the tenant to vacate the house a few days ago and now the father alleges that the tenant could have abducted his daughter as revenge.

In the FIR,Vipan Goyal stated that his daughter Deeksha Goyal (14),a student of Class IX in Atam Public School,went to play in a park on Saturday along with her brothers – Om Goyal (13) and Bhavesh Goyal (16).While Om and Bhavesh returned home after a while,they told their father that Deeksha would come later as she had stomach ache. Goyal said that he immediately rushed to the park to find his daughter but she was not available there.

Assistant Sub Inspector Paramjit Singh at police station Model Town said the police will interrogate the tenant in this regard as to fix whereabout of Deeksha.
