UP fencing team announced

The UP fencing team for the 18th junior boys/ girls national fencing championship was declared by the UP Fencing Association (UPFA) on Monday. The championships will be held from October 28 to 31 at Chhattisgarh.

The team includes: Akash Sonker,Rishu Prince,Danish Hussain,Shubham,Pragyan,Vishal,Rohit,Ali Faraz,Deepak,Shashank,Ishank,Bhagyashree,Alisha; Coach: Roop Narayan; Manager: TC Ghosh; Shariq Hussain.

ALL-ROUND efforts by Nilendra Pratap Singh (50 runs; 2 for 17) helped Surya Sports Club in defeating Jyoti Cricket Club by six wickets in their league match of the 1st LPS Trophy 2010 which commenced at the Chowk Stadium,Lucknow on Monday.
