“The film is guaranteed to give all children their share of fun with a car that talks to the film’s hero,” says Sameer Rao,General Manager Star Gold,the television channel that has commissioned the film Vroom Adventures of Smarty The Magical Car,which is releasing this Friday. “Actually,the car is the hero,” pitches in Gaurav Bajaj,who plays in the film a college boy whose family buys a second hand car enabled by a microchip to talk.”

Gaurav was in Lucknow with co-star Nina Sarkar to promote the film,which was screened for underprivileged children at the Press Club.

“I loved to see the kids gawking as they saw the action in the film! I have a feeling that we have a winner in hand,” chirped Nina,whose career started at the age of 17 with a music video for Le jaa,le jaa the Ustad Sultan Khan and Shreya Ghoshal duet from the album Ustad and His Divas. The Bangalore girl has done innumerable commercials and has taken part in the Lakme Fashion Week.

“I have spoken to the Principal of my ex-school to spread the word around and get the kids to see the film that features an alumnus from their school,” says Gaurav,who passed out of Seth MR Jai-puria Public School,Kanpur and has done quite a few advertisement films in his modeling career of five years.
