Shubhi Dwivedi of Uttar Pradesh bagged a double crown in the AITA Talent Series Under-12 and Under-16 Tennis Championships,in Lucknow on Friday. Shubhi beat Moksha (also from UP) by 7-6(2),6-2 in the girls under-12 singles final. Later in the under-16 girls singles final,she beat another UP player Pragya Sinha 6-4,2-6,6-3 to add a second title to her kitty.

Boys Under-16 Doubles: Amritanjay Kumar & Aditya Viswakarma (Sports College) beat Devansh Mani & Arjun Singh (UP) 6-7(8),6-2,6-0;
Boys Under-12 Singles: Anshymat Srivastav (Bih) bt Kundan Dalmia (UP) 1-6,7-5,6-1;
Girls Under-12 Singles: Shubhi Dwivedi (UP) bt Moksha Thukral (UP) 7-6 (2),6-2;
Girls Under-16 Singles: Shubhi Dwivedi (UP) bt Pragya Sinha (UP) 6-4,2-6,6-3.

Kshetij excels
A devastating six wicket haul by Kshetij Lal (6 for 6 in 3.2 overs) helped UP Timber in defeating Sahara India by 53 runs in their league match of the 1st Kanshiram memorial twenty20 cricket tournament organised at KD Singh Babu Stadium,Lucknow. In a semi-final match of the same tournament which is being organised in various divisions,Gujrals Academy beat Lucknow Cricket Foundation by ten wickets while Supreme Club beat Armaan Academy by 123 runs in a second round match.

U-16 cricket trials
About 150 boys were shortlisted on the second day of the three-day under-16 district cricket trials at Northern Railway Stadium,Lucknow. The third days trials will be organised from 7.00 am at KD Singh Babu Stadium,Lucknow. Secretary Cricket Association Lucknow (CAL) KM Khan informed that around 60 to 70 boys will be selected from these trials and then the Lucknow regional trials will be organised from April 11 at KD Singh Babu Stadium,Lucknow. Those selected in the those trials will be participating,from the Lucknow region,in the final trials which are organised by Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association at Kanpur.
Harshad shines
A six wicket haul by Harshad Chelwan (6 for 27) was the highlight of the match as his team Arya Cricket Academy settled for a draw against Akota Cricket Club,Baroda in their league match of the 3rd LCA Under-16 Cricket Trophy,in Lucknow on Friday. In another league match of the same tourney,Lucknow Cricket Academy beat Panthers Cricket Academy by 78 Runs. Arya XI and LCA have now entered the final of the tournament.
