Seven UP players in hockey camp

Seven hockey players hailing from Uttar Pradesh including Diwakar Ram (defender),Hari Kripal Yadav (fullback),Danish Mujtaba (forward),Vikas Sharma (defender),Tushar Khandekar (forward),M Amir (forward) and Siddharth Sharma (forward) have made it to the Indian team probables camp. The camp will be organised at Bangalore from July 1 to 31.

Senior SAI coach M Raza informed that altogether 48 players have been selected for the camp. “This year three out of five trainees of SAI sub-centre,Lucknow who took part in the nationals have made it to the probables camp. The team selected will be taking part in the international tournaments ahead. The three SAI players who have been selected include Hari Kripal Yadav and M Amir (who played from UP) and Kothajit (represented Manipur in the nationals).”
