Principal grabbed,kissed me: 11-yr-old

An 11-year-old student of a government-run primary school in Sahibabad has alleged that her school principal harassed and molested her in the schools sports room on Friday.

The victim filed a complaint at Link Road police station here on Saturday.

According to the Class V student,she had gone to the school sports room to return the bat after the sports period got over and found the principal,Meher Chand,waiting there. According to the complaint,Meher Chand grabbed her and forcibly kissed her. She told us about the incident after returning home yesterday. Even a day later,she is in deep shock, the girls mother today said.

Confirming the incident,Station House Officer of Link Road police station Rashid Ali said the principal has been arrested and sent to court. This is a serious offence, he added.
