PP releases 5th list of candidates

Peace Party has announced the its fifth list of 51 candidates,most of them for western UP.

Peace Party has announced the its fifth list of 51 candidates,most of them for western UP. The party has already announced names of 198 candidates. Satyapal Chaudhary,who was part of farmers agitations in Noida over land acquisition,joined the party on Saturday and was appointed national vice-president.

Kadipur returning officer transferred

Lucknow: The Election Commission of India has transferred Returning Officer of Kadipur Assembly constituency in Sultanpur district,C P Saroj,for dereliction in election duty. UP Chief Electoral Officer Umesh Sinha said that Saroj has been transferred for a non-election posting out of the district as following the report. Avinash Singh,deputy collector of Lucknow has been appointed the new RO here.
