Mulayam,Akhilesh to attend Lohia anniversary celebrations

Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav and CM Akhilesh Yadav will attend the 102nd birth anniversary celebrations of socialist Late Dr Ram Manohar Lohia at Lohia Park in Lucknow on Friday. This will be the first public function where SP leaders will be present after assuming power in the state. Lohia Park has been spruced up for the occasion. With the party in power the function will be celebrated on a large scale.

All other Lohia statues in the city too have been cleaned and decked up as senior SP leaders will be coming to pay their floral tributes. Lohia’s statue in Lohia Hospital at Gomti Nagar,Lohia Park in Chowk and at Lohia Trust office in Vikramaditya Marg will also be visited by SP leaders. The Lohia Large gathering is expected at the main function in Lohia Park with senior party leaders,ministers and socialist thinkers besides party workers.
