Man shot at by robbers

A 32-year-old man was allegedly shot at by unidentified men after he tried to take back the bag containing documents and money,snatched by three motorcycle-borne robbers in Bazarkhala area on Saturday.

A 32-year-old man was allegedly shot at by unidentified men after he tried to take back the bag containing documents and money,snatched by three motorcycle-borne robbers in Bazarkhala area on Saturday.

Police said the incident took place at around 11.30 am when Manoj Gupta,who works as a servant at the grocery shop of Pawan Kumar Agarwal at Subhash Marg Kirana Mandi,was carrying the bag containing keys of the shop,some documents and Rs 2,000 cash on a bicycle to the shop from Agarwal’s house.

Sub-Inspector Adarsh Kumar Singh,said three bike-borne men snatched the bag from him. When Gupta shouted and tried to catch the robbers,he was shot at by the robbers on his abdomen,said Singh.
