Lucknow: 14-yr-old held for sexually assaulting two minor girls
The girls narrated the incident to their family members after returning home, the police said

A 14-year-old boy has been booked for allegedly sexually assaulting two minor girls, aged six and nine, in Lucknow, the police said.
An FIR was registered after the mother of the girls filed a complaint, the police said, adding that the incident took place on April 12.
According to the police, the complainant alleged that when the girls were playing outside their home, the boy took them to his newly-constructed house on the pretext of showing it to them and allegedly assaulted the girls before fleeing.
The girls narrated the incident to their family members after returning home, the police said. A senior police officer said that the boy was detained and his custody handed over to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC).
“Since the mother of the girls did not consent to an internal medical examination, only an external medical examination was conducted. A medical report is awaited,” a police officer said.
Assistant Police Commissioner, Lucknow, Dr Amol Murkut said the families of the girls and boys are daily wage labourers.
