LU perk for Best Student

The best student in undergraduate courses at Lucknow University will now be the proud occupier of room number 101,where former President Shankar Dayal Sharma lived during his college days.

The best student in undergraduate courses at Lucknow University will now be the proud occupier of room number 101,where former President Shankar Dayal Sharma lived during his college days. The former President stayed in the room while he was pursuing LLB and LLM courses between 1936 and 1940.

The university has now decided to allot this room,locked since then,to a meritorious student. The best students of LU having obtained marks above 75 per cent will be considered for the room. The second best student will get to live in room number 102,which was occupied by Giri Lal Gupta,a friend of former President.
