The Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) served notices to 59 buildings for not installing rain water harvesting system on Thursday. It has also served notice to 51 buildings for construction against the land use.
Besides this,28 notices were served for not submitting completion certificate and seven notices for illegal constructions. The authority has also served notices to 33 buildings for not ensuring fire safety measures.
According to sources,action has been taken based on the directives of state government. In a recent review meeting,the state government had directed all development authorities to enforce rain water recharging system and serve notices to unauthorised constructions.
LDA Vice-Chairman Mukesh Kumar Meshram has directed all property officers and executive engineers to inspect housing schemes to identify unauthorised construction and illegal occupation and take necessary action.
