Doctor found dead in hotel

A 55-year-old man was found dead in a room of New Geetanjali Hotel in Lucknow’s Naka Hindola on Wednesday. The deceased,Raj Kumar,a doctor by profession and resident of Ghaziabad,is said to have checked in on Monday. On Wednesday afternoon,the hotel staff reported to the police that Kumar was not answering the knocks on his room. When the police broke down the door,they found him dead on the bed. “I cannot say how he died,but the autopsy report will make the picture clear. There were no injury marks on the body,” said D D Singh,Inspector,Naka Hindola police station. Kumar’s family told police that he had been missing for the last 20 days.
