Chinese held for crossing border can terminate pregnancy: HC

The Allahabad High Court has permitted a Chinese woman,who along with her two countrymen was arrested for entering India illegally,to terminate her pregnancy. The Lucknow Bench of the Court directed the Bahraich Jail Superintendent to take necessary steps to facilitate her abortion in accordance with rules and regulations. Liu,Liao Xing and Yu Dangli were arrested near Rupiyadeeh border on January 17 for entering India illegally.
