CBI seeks help in tracing slain pradhan’s brothers,son

The CBI is understood to have sought help of Pratapgarh police to trace slain Balipur village pradhan Nanhe Yadav’s brothers Phoolchand,Pawan and Sudhir who left their home since the agency began investigation into the triple murder on March 8.

Phoolchand and Pawan are complainants in the murder cases of the pradhan and his younger brother Suresh,respectively. They are also named as accused in the murder of Kunda circle officer Ziaul Haque in the FIR lodged on March 2 by the police.

The CBI is also looking for the pradhan’s son Babloo,who has been missing since the night his father,Suresh and the CO were shot dead at Balipur. The CBI had enquired from the pradhan’s father about the whereabouts of Phoolchand,Pawan,Sudhir and Babloo on Monday,but he feigned ignorance.

The CBI team on Tuesday questioned three persons from Purnemau village in Hathigawan police station area in the murder case of Nanhe Yadav. The three of them — Nanhey Singh,Santosh Mishra alias Deva and Ram Murat — are reportedly close to ex-minister Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiyya.

The CBI let them go in the evening and asked them to appear at the camp office in Kunda on Wednesday.
