Fake candidate held in police recruitment test
A youth was caught impersonating a candidate during the medical test of the ongoing police recruitment in Hathras district on Tuesday. R S Dwivedi,Circle Officer of Sikanderarau,said Manoj was appearing in place of Manvir Singh,whose photograph was on the application form. He kept insisting that it was his photograph,but even his signatures did not match the one on the form. He later admitted that his was impersonating his friend Manvir who had some problem with his knees, Dwivedi said.

AMU to honour PM,Sonia,Hussain
The Executive Council of AMU on Tuesday decided to award the degree of DLitt (Honoris Causa) to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh,Congress president Sonia Gandhi,AMU Chancellor and retired Chief Justice of India A H Ahmadi and painter M F Hussain. The degree will be conferred at the universitys next convocation but the date for which is yet to be finalised,said Zeeshan Ahmad,Assistant Public Relation Officer.
