Ads for packaged snacks make it seem the world belongs only to teens and ‘tweens. “We are introducing ‘Aliva’ crackers, aimed at people who are 30-plus,” said Vidur Vyas,Executive Vice-President Marketing of Frito-Lay India,in Lucknow. He said the baked snack, available in four different flavours, was made of wheat and daal.

I don’t know who is behind the hate campaigns, but our snacks are as good and safe as homemade stuff,” claimed Vyas.
