A Heroine’s World

The first day of shooting of Madhur Bhandarkar’s Heroine with Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal was a special one for many reasons.

It is Bhandarkar’s most ambitious project till date; for Kapoor,it is her most challenging role where she portrays five phases of a heroine’s life. It is for the second time in one year that the film went on floors,after a pregnant Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan,who was earlier signed on to play the lead role,quit the film mid-way. The film was put on hold before Bebo,the original choice for the role,stepped back into the project and ably fit into Ash’s shoes.
