The Bachchan family dressed up in white to cast their vote, making another politically correct statement. You can do the same, cast your vote, but if you want to look slightly glam while you’re at it,head to the capital Sunaina Suneja (inset)is showcasing her Election Collection. “Show you care,Insist you count,Cast your ballot,Make your mark,” says Suneja,52,as she urges people to wear Khadi on Election Day. “I thought about doing something for elections and as soon as the dates were announced,it came to me in a flash. An election collection that represents both the politicians who seek our vote and we the people who have the power to bring about change,” says Suneja who has been working in khadi for the past two decades. The collection is divided into two parts, suitably titled Politician Khadi vs Aam Aadmi ka Khadi. “It’s great for the summer,it’s stylish and lends itself to great cuts. You could interpret it as a subtle call for transparency in our political systems,” says Suneja.
