The Calcutta High Court today heard the arguments on the appeal filed by the Todis and three police officers in connection with the Rizwanur Rehman death case.
The counsel for the Todis pleaded that the case be decided after the vacation. Rejecting the plea,a Division Bench of Acting Chief Justice Bhaskar Bhattacharya and Justice Prasenjit Mondal said that the Supreme Court had asked the Calcutta High Court a year ago to complete the hearing within six month. The case will come up for hearing on Tuesday.
