‘Mamata good administrator,but has lost momentum’

Veteran CPM leader Abdur Rezzak Mollah on Friday commended Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for steps taken by her for development of the state,but said that she was unable to retain the momentum.

The Trinamool Congress,which had earlier pledged that it was against the government acquiring agricultural land had deviated from its policy,he said,participating in the debate for budgetary grants for the Home Department in Assembly. He alleged that bargadars and pattadars were being driven out and a nexus with promoters existed,while land disputes were being settled in police stations. Describing Banerjee as a very good administrator,he however,said that he did not think that peace had returned to Junglemahal where simmering tension still prevailed.
