Heavy rainfall throughout the night has paralysed the transport system in Kolkata, severely disrupting movement of vehicles and train services. Several local trains, connecting the city with its suburbs and neighbouring districts, have been cancelled and a few diverted, due to waterlogging on railway tracks.

1) 13151 UP Kolkata – Jammu Tawi Express scheduled to leave Kolkata station 11.45 hrs. has been rescheduled at 14.00 hrs. on 23.9.2025.
2) 12357 UP Kolkata – Amritsar Express scheduled to leave Kolkata at 12.10 hrs. on 23.9.2025 has been rescheduled at 14.30 hrs. on 23.9.2025.
3) 13161 UP Kolkata – Balurghat Express scheduled to leave Kolkata station at 12.05 hrs. on 23.9.2025 has been rescheduled at 15.15 hrs. on 23.9.2025.
