Fresh exam for PTTI candidates

The state education department on Friday constituted a panel to hold fresh PTTI examination for around 60,000 candidates of Howrah,North and South 24-Parganas. The move comes after several discrepancies were identified in the panel constituted in 2009 by the erstwhile Left Front government for Primary Teachers’ Training Institutes. The department has sent a formal order to all district primary school education authorities to finish the examination process within 90 days.
