Abhishek Bachchan is 17 kgs lighter and flaunts a newly acquired Mediterranean tan,thanks to the Cannes sojourn with wife Aishwarya Rai. Its just the right physique to take on Rams army,he jokes,about his title role in Mani Ratnams Ravana. Bachchan made a quick stopover at Emporio Mall where he attended Louis Vuittons one year anniversary in India on Tuesday.

He is half-way through the shooting of the film which is scheduled for release in October. This is his third project with Ratnam after Yuva in 2004 and Guru in 2007. Maniji brings out the best in an actor. His characters have meat in them. He instilled a feeling of confidence in me when I did Yuva.
