A clash broke out between two Trinamool Congress Chatra Parishad groups on Monday over keeping a student in their group,causing tension at North City College.
Around nine students were injured in the clash. Police said around 11.30 am some students gathered near Armerhest Street in North Kolkata,arguing over including a student,Abhishekh Mishra,of the same college,in their group. A brawl followed the heated argument,and police had to intervene. Infighting between two TMCCP groups led to this clash,added a senior police officer.
