AIGL wants CBI to take over Tamang murder case

Senior All India Gorkha League leader Narayan Chettri on Thursday demanded immediate transfer of the Madan Tamang murder case to the CBI from the CID. Claiming that Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee had pointed fingers at the GJM for the May 21 assassination,at a Left Front rally in Kolkata two days ago,Chettri said: “The CM should prove his sincerity by arresting all those involved in the daylight murder.” He added: “We wonder why the state government has not taken the initiative to cancel the registration of the GJM.”
