One person died on Saturday in a clash between Trinamool and CPM supporters in Uluberia constituency in Howrah district,taking the toll in the poll-related violence in Bengal to nine. Police said Chandu Malik (50) was killed in a bomb attack in the Udaynarayanpur area. The CPM claimed Malik was a supporter while Uluberia’s sitting MP from CPM Hannan Mollah blamed the Trinamool-Congress combine for the violence.
