A village defence guard allegedly died by suicide on Monday night in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.

The deceased has been identified as Suresh Kumar Sharma of Bai Nangal village. Sources said his body was found lying in the fields near his house. The police have registered a case and started investigations.
