Hyderabad: Five-storey building collapses, at least five feared trapped

At least five persons are reported trapped under the rubble after a five-storey under construction building collapsed in Nanakramguda of Hyderabad late night. Police officials said that the building watchman and his family and a few workers were in the ground floor of the building when it collapsed. Fire and rescue and emergency teams have rushed to the spot. Greater Hyderabad municipal corporation commissioner Janardhan Reddy said there were no immediate reports of casualties. He said it was yet to be ascertained if there were people in the building. A NDRF team is also being rushed to spot. People living in houses around the collapsed building ran out in panic as the building came down with a loud noise.
