All India Pre-Medical Test extends deadline for applications

With students complaining of technical problems while submitting their application forms for the All India Pre-Medical Test online,the CBSE has extended the date for submission to February 10.

With students complaining of technical problems while submitting their application forms for the All India Pre-Medical Test (AIPMT) online,the CBSE has extended the date for submission to February 10.

The submission date earlier was December 31,both for online applicants and those sending the form via post. The online submission had to be followed up with the students sending their signatures and photographs through registered or speed post to the AIPMT office.

Many online applicants,however,could not check the status of their forms on the website and had approached the CBSE,which conducts the exam.

After updation of data of the AIPMT application forms received by the Board on website,it has come to the notice that some applications sent to the Board have not reached it. Most of these applications have been submitted on-line, CBSE wrote on its website. The CBSE said it is looking into the problem.

The students can now avail the facility of reprinting the confirmation page on the website http://www.aipmt.nic.in, said Dr Sanyam Bhardwaj,deputy secretary of CBSE PMT Wing. Candidates who give their application number and date of birth can re-print the confirmation page and sent it to us.

The last date for submission of forms was December 31. However,students who had submitted the forms online,their additional documents could be received latest by January 7, he said.
