Youth arrested two days after killing 15-year-old girl at clinic in Delhi
Family members of the deceased have told the police that she was “harassed” for about 10 days — after which she stopped going to school, but did not, however, tell them the reason initially.

A 20-year-old youth was arrested on Wednesday for killing a 15-year-old girl at a clinic in Delhi on Monday, police said.
The accused was a “friend” of the deceased, said an officer, adding that the girl had not interacted much with him of late.
After the victim started ignoring his calls and messages, the accused allegedly tried to reach her through a female friend. “However, the victim told her (female friend) that she did not want to talk to him.” The accused then allegedly started to harass the victim, especially when she would go to school or tuition classes.
Family members of the deceased have told the police that she was “harassed” for about 10 days — after which she stopped going to school, but did not, however, tell them the reason initially.
On Monday, she finally stepped out to go to school, but was allegedly stopped by the accused on her way back. “She managed to reach home. But a friend of the accused called her to a clinic to talk about the youth,” the officer said. After they reached the clinic, the accused shot the girl in a fit of rage, police said.
The officer said the accused would object if the girl interacted with other men. “Fed up, she had stopped talking to him.”
A case has been registered in the matter, police said.
