Those who wish to purchase a flat in the Commonwealth Games Village Complex have till 2 pm on Monday to submit their tender documents. The highest bidder for each of the 110 flats up for grabs will be announced on Monday evening,the Delhi Development Authority has said.

Sale of tender documents and their submission will continue till 2 pm on Monday at the D-Block auction hall in DDAs Vikas Sadan office.

The tenders will be opened by 2.30 pm on the same day. The results regarding the highest bidder for each flat will also be announced by evening. We hope to wrap up the process by evening, said Neemo Dhar,DDA spokesperson.

The sale of tender documents for auction of its two,three,four and five bedroom flats started on April 26. The DDA will first auction 110 flats to ascertain the market rates for these flats. The reserve price has been kept at Rs 16,500 per sq ft.

Over 1,000 tender documents have already been sold by DDA. The bidders will be allowed to be present in the auction hall, said Dhar.

The flats up for auction are located in towers one,four and nine. The land agency is planning to hand out fully-furnished flats. DDA has 711 flats with itself.

Any person who has attained the age of majority can apply. The applicant must not own any residential flat or plot in full or in part on leasehold or freehold basis in the urban areas in Delhi in his/her own name or in the name of wife or husband or in the name of minor or dependent children, said a DDA official.

Central government,state government and public sector undertakings can also apply by putting signatures and seal of authorised officer or signatory.

NRIs or foreign national of Indian origin may also apply,but an individual can submit only one tender.
