The Buddhist mantra,Nam myoho renge kyo,has found resonance in India,with over 37,000 people embracing the philosophy of the 13th century Japanese Buddhist,Nichiren Daishonin. The Indian chapter of Soka Gakkai International,the Bharat Soka Gakkai has put together a traveling exhibition,Gandhi,King,Ikeda: A Legacy of Building Peace,on display till today,at the Eicher School in Faridabad. It exhibits moments from the lives of the great leaders with inspiring quotes and factual information about them. We try and explain to people that the power of change lies within them. Chanting is the way to realisation,peace and harmony, says V Raju,a volunteer from the practice.

The exhibition displays a series of old,coloured photographs where you get a glimpse of a young Gandhi,and a smiling Martin Luther King. Ikeda is 80-years old and is the President of Soka Gakkai International, adds Raju. The exhibition Gandhi,King,Ikeda,has traveled across India,through Bangalore,Chennai,Thiruvananthapuram,Mumbai,Pune and Nasik. Next,its going to be displayed at St. Columbas School in Delhi from April 24th to 26th.
