This show introduces a new concept. How successful do you think it will be ?
The success and failure of the show is secondary. The Pitch is about making someone realise his/her dreams. The cash is not meant to fund a luxurious holiday in the Bahamas. The aim is to encourage people to take up entrepreneurship. Young educated Indians seldom do that. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone to put their skills out to test by business leaders like Naina Lal Kidwai,Kishore Biyani,Rahul Bajaj and N Damodaran.

Is television the correct medium to encourage people to become entrepreneurs?
This concept could have been executed on other media,but television has a mass appeal and the widest reach. When audiences will watch the weekly tasks done by contestants,they will be inspired to some extent. Besides,the presence of people who have struggled,worked hard and become successful business leaders itself is inspiring.

What have you done differently to prepare yourself for this show?
It is always best to go prepared when you take up something new. For this show,I have to be up-to-date with the business world. I am reading about prominent personalities in the industry,which helps me learn as well. Besides,the struggle and success of these business tycoons is very inspiring.

Are the audiences going to see a different side of you?
You can’t slash out the actor in me. But here,I play the humble host. This is a competitive show,and the contestants will face moments of disappointment. So my role is to induce the human touch,which is pertinent. I am going to be a shoulder of support who,of course,can churn up light moments.
