Star Stops

Sweltering Delhi isn’t a hot destination for actors right now,so stargazers were in for a treat when Deepika Padukone (extreme left) and Rahul Bose dropped in last week. Padukone, who launched the waterproof watch Tissot Sea Touch, spoke excitedly about her forthcoming film,Love Aaj Kal. “It’s a romantic movie and will bring back memories of first loves,” she said. Ask her about the rumours that she had replaced Kareena Kapoor in the film and Padukone’s usually honey voice suddenly turned icy. “I don’t know anything about this and hope to work with director Imtiaz Ali again.”

Maybe she could take a cue from Bose, who stated gallantly how he just loved the summer heat. “I am a summer person and I love the scorching heat of Delhi,” said Bose, while inaugurating the Arrow store at South Extension. Bose will next be seen in The Japanese Wife and Zara Jee Ke Dekho. “My other project is a horror film which is still hush hush,” he said, ending with a humorous, chilling whisper. We look forward to the thrill pill.
