A human skeleton was found inside a sewage tank at a North MCD school in Rohini. Police said they have sent the skeleton for forensic test. A family from the locality has claimed the remains could be of their son, who went missing in 2000.
Police said the matter came to light when labourers were making a toilet at MCD Primary School, Mukhmelpur (girl’s wing). They opened the lid of a sewage tank and saw a skull and bone fragments inside, as well as pieces of clothing.
As news spread, a family from Mukhmelpur approached police and said their 13-year-old son Javed had gone missing 18 years ago. DCP Rajneesh Gupta said they will also approach other families whose children or family members have gone missing.
