Serenading Satan

Death metal fans need to head to the closest mosh pit to celebrate the announcement of yet another metal band that is all set for their Indian debut this November. Polish band,Behemoth, mostly in the news for controversial lyrics on Satanism and violence,is the headlining act on the second day of the the annual two-day Indian Music Conference in Bengaluru that begins on November 2. The band comprises bassist Tomasz “Orion” Wróblewski,Adam “Nergal” Darski on lead guitar and vocals, and Zbigniew Robert “Inferno” Prominski on drums. It’s after more than three years that the band has begun work on their 10th album since Nergal was diagnosed with leukemia, shortly after they released their last album,Evangelion.

Brutal double peddling ,power riffs on the guitars and demonic lyrics — this gig,we hope, will be epic for fans of the dark side of music. Headbangers can also expect Behemoth classics such as Inner sanctum,Ov fire and the void and Lasy pomorza. The event will also feature UK-based tech metal band,Cynaide Serenity.

The conference will begin at 4pm while Behemoth is slated to play at 8.30pm.

The tickets are priced at Rs 750. Contact http://www.indianmusicconference.com
