After a break of three years,the Ellora-Ajanta Festival returns to the cultural calendar. The seventh edition of the festival will be held from January 26 to 29 at the elegant Soneri Mahal in Aurangabad,Maharashtra. Among the artistes who fill the days with classical music and dances are kuchipudi artistes Shallu Jindal,and Dr Raja and Radha Reddy,dancer Hema Malini,vocalist Ustad Rashid Khan,flautist Pandit Ronu Majumdar,and Mandolin player Sugato Bhaduri. Singer Kailash Kher and Kavita Seth,too,make up the popular faces in the line up. Kalagram,a crafts centre in Aurangabad will be the second venue for the fest this year. Kalagram will host a performing folk arts,food and crafts festival,as well as four exhibitions.
