Trust the flamboyant AD Singh to find something French to celebrate. Over the weekend,his restaurant Olive Beach at Chanakyapuri went red,blue and white for the French National Day which falls on July 14. While gallerist Aarti Singh of Polka Art Gallery unveiled her Matisse in an event titled Art on a High on Saturday,designer duo Lecoanet-Hemant cranked out a selection from their spring-summer line that was showcased by socialites.

The show-stopper was actor Sonya Jehan of Taj Mahal fame sauntering in a white cocktail dress,while Aneesha Oberoi looked chic in a wine dress. On Friday morning chef Saby disseminated a few tips on French cuisine as well. The spread comprised liqueur pudding,French fromagerie and crepes. The festival wound up with a delicious buffet coupled with French champagne on a lazy Sunday. And as the afternoon rolled by socialites continued to drop in with Mon ami at the restaurant.
