Ravi Kumar N G to replace Ritu Maheshwari as Greater Noida Authority CEO
A 2003-batch IAS officer of the UP cadre, Ritu Maheshwari will continue as the Chief Executive of Noida Authority.

In a late-night decision Saturday, the Uttar Pradesh government appointed Ravi Kumar N G, Divisional Commissioner, Gorakhpur, as new the CEO of Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA).
Ravi Kumar will replace Ritu Maheshwari, who had been holding the position of GNIDA chief executive officer along with that of Noida Authority. A 2003-batch IAS officer of the UP cadre, Maheshwari will continue as the Chief Executive of Noida Authority.
After former Greater Noida CEO and Meerut commissioner Surender Singh was posted as the secretary to Delhi Lieutenant Governor on September 28, 2022, Maheshwari was given additional charge of GNIDA CEO. She used to attend office only two days a week.
One of their main demands during their sit-in demonstrations at the Authority, farmers had said they needed a permanent CEO, who would listen to their problems.
Maheshwari has been serving as Noida CEO since July 2019 after holding the post of the Ghaziabad district magistrate. She is also Managing Director, Noida Metro Rail Corporation
Ravi Kumar N G, a 2004 batch IAS officer, was posted as secretary to the Government of UP, Tourism, Culture, and Religious Affairs. In 2021, he was transferred and appointed as commissioner, Gorakhpur Division.
From Karnataka, Ravi Kumar has also served as director general, UP Tourism. He was appointed as the district magistrate of Gorakhpur in 2012 and also served as DMs of Mathura and Agra. On deputation at the Centre, he was the private secretary of former water minister Uma Bharti.
