Ranhaula fire hurts 3,guts house

Fire engulfed a house in Ranhaula,West Delhi,after it came in contact with a dangling high tension wire Saturday — injuring three children. Police said the fire broke out after wet clothes spread on the railing came in contact with the wire,the police said.

The injured,Pawan (10),Golu (6) and Somnath (2),lived in the same building. “We came to know about the incident from a neighbour,and rushed to the spot. All the three children were immediately taken to the hospital. While Pawan suffered 75 per cent burns and is in a critical condition,the other two are out of danger,” a senior police officer said.
