Protests at MLA’s house over ‘dress code’ remark

Haryana Janhit Congress Mahila party workers shouted slogans and burnt effigies of the MLA and demanded his immediate resignation from the Haryana Assembly.

Kusum Sharma,President,HJMP (Haryana Janhit Mahila Party),said,“We want him to tender an apology for using such an unparliamentary language.”

HJP chief,Kuldeep Bishnoi called the incident “shameful and disgraceful” and said the MLA must stay within his limits during public events.

Dharampal had made the comment during the annual day celebrations at Gurgaon’s Dronacharya College of Engineering,where Dabas is a staff member.

Dabas,who fainted after MLA Dharampal’s remark,was admitted to the Medanta Medicity.

Arun Garg,her doctor,said,“We have conducted a CT scan and various other tests like MRI. The reports are all normal.”
