A city court on Saturday issued fresh notices to two school principals to appear before it on April 12 to verify the age of suspected Indian Mujahideen militant Salman Ahmed,as mentioned on his matriculation certificate and Class I documents.

The directive comes days after Ahmed’s counsel refused to accept an AIIMS report that said he was not a minor when the serial blasts took place in Delhi on September 13,2008. Ahmed, suspected to be involved in the blasts, has claimed he was a minor at the time.

Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Kaveri Baweja today sought the presence of the headmaster of a school in Bandra (Mumbai),where Ahmed is reported to have taken admission in Class I,and principal of a school in Azamgarh,UP,from where he cleared his Class X Boards.
