So actor Saif Ali Khan swept into the Capital for a health awards function,organised by Dr Batra’s homeopathy clinic at the Siri Fort auditorium on Thursday evening. Dressed in a flimsy black-tee and denims,Khan seemed unaffected by the considerable winter chill,as he mouthed usual platitudes about the need to be healthy. “As a celebrity,I have been part of several charitable exercises. But I like to draw a distinction between my professional assignments and charitable work,” he said,refusing to divulge the other causes he supports. And just as the interaction swerved towards his candid disclosures on the chat show Koffee with Karan,the chhote nawab slipped away. “Let’s end it here,before this conversation gets silly,” he signed off.
