PM Modi to lay foundation for upgrading Gurgaon railway station on Feb 26

The railway station will have two entry points along with other unique features, said Singh, adding that plans to ensure that vehicles taking the Daultabad Flyover get direct access to the station are underway.

Officials concerned have been directed to relocate the cement yard following several difficulties, said Singh. The Gurgaon railway station will also comprise 12 lifts, a foot-over bridge, multi-level parking area, two-storey food court, escalators, and solar panels among others.

Singh said he had met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw at the Parliament House in July, and apprised him about different projects in the region. He had also informed Vaishnaw about the railway station renovation, and the latter assured him of the same.
